Hon. Banda acknowledged the growing disillusionment among Zambia’s young people, many of whom see the recycling of older politicians as a betrayal of generational change. He urged the opposition not to ignore the youth, but to engage them meaningfully, offering space for their voices, energy, and innovation.

If Tonse requires coherent blocs, PF must first be one bloc. If PF remains divided, Tonse becomes a megaphone for quarrels rather than a platform for strategy.

“We cannot allow people to assemble and plot in private houses without police permits,” Ibrahim Mwamba said. “These actions are destroying our political future and disillusioning young people who want to believe in unity and direction.”
