Inside and outside the Patriotic Front, people are uneasy about him because they know he carries something rare in our politics. He carries favour, courage, and that unmistakable grace we once saw on President Edgar Chagwa Lungu, the kind of grace that draws people without effort.

Hon Makebi Zulu speaks with fire but walks with humility. He shows conviction without arrogance, and he carries himself like a man who understands both the suffering of ordinary Zambians and the responsibility of leading them. The youths feel represented. Women feel respected. Those who loved ECL see a continuation of spirit. He does not imitate the past, he extends it.
