Lusaka – The Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General has delivered an energising message of unity, discipline, and determination, urging members to combine the popular demand for change with a strong party machine ahead of the 2026 elections.
Addressing party structures at the PF Secretariat in Lusaka, the Secretary General reminded members that while the PF has always been a people’s movement carried by the “wind of change,” the time has come to match that momentum with solid organisation, credible structures, and transparent processes.
“We must combine the wind of change blowing in the country with a well-organised machinery capable of protecting and delivering victory,” he said.
He outlined a clear roadmap for mobilisation that includes strengthening branches, registering new members, and deploying trained observers to every polling station to ensure that every vote is properly counted and protected.
The Secretary General stressed that the sacrifices made by many PF members, some of whom have endured persecution and jail time, must not be wasted by infighting or unmanaged ambition. Instead, he called for discipline, focus, and a united effort to confront the real challenges facing Zambians.
“This is not a game. It is a life-and-death situation for our future. We must register our people, especially the youth, and we must stand guard at polling stations until the last vote is counted,” he declared.
The PF leadership also pledged to ensure that the process of selecting candidates is fair, open, and transparent, reinforcing the party’s commitment to democracy and accountability.
In a message filled with hope, the Secretary General reminded members that change is within reach if the PF remains united and committed to serving the people.
“We will support honest ambition, but we will manage it for the good of the party. Our focus is on victory for Zambia. Together, we can and will make it happen,” he assured.
As Zambia looks toward 2026, the PF is positioning itself as a disciplined, people-driven party ready to restore confidence in governance, lower the cost of living, and put citizens first.
The Secretary General’s message was received with cheers and renewed energy, as members left the Secretariat with a call to mobilise, register, and protect the democratic will of the people.
